FoodoMarket is an international French startup (a dynamic and young company) specialized in the online sales of food products for restaurants. Our goal: Make the largest food market in the world. We are already operating on four core markets, United States, United Kingdom, France, and Belgium.
Our sales department is based in SFAX. We were 5 people in Tunisia in the early 2021 and are now more than 200 very ambitious people, but still want to increase our workforce multiplying it by three. We have just moved into a brand new building on 3 floors, with a gym, a canteen, and everything you need in order to work in the best conditions. Here the average profile : 26 years old, highly motivated and ambitious, working in a respectful way and with a positive attitude. We have an open mindset and a modern management style.
MANDATORY : you are fluent in English (as you have to prospect English speaking sales managers or business owners)
Job description :
We are a marketplace like Amazon, with independent suppliers on one side (our food wholesalers), and buyers on the other side (our restaurant customers). As a sales on the "wholesalers" part, your job will be to convince food wholesalers to sell their products on FOODOMARKET. You will have to prospect and develop a portfolio of clients, by phone.
ð You will attend an intensive training of one to two weeks.
Your day-to-day job:
- Search for new customers (food wholesalers, food industrial etc…) that can buy food products in big quantities.
- Identify and contact the decision-makers (purchaising manager or the owner of the company).
- Present and sell the Foodomarket offer by phone.
- Take in charge all the logistics process for delevery
- Share your business knowledge and your ideas to improve team performance.
Required profile :
Your technical skills :
You are eager to learn
You are not afraid of the phone (60-100 calls/day) and you are able to open closed doors
You are comfortable with various IT software.
Knowledge of the agri-food or hotel/restaurant domain is a +
Your personal qualities :
You are fluent in English (you have to convince English speaking purchasing managers or business owners).
You know how to sell and you love it.
You already know the sales techincs (soft skills, hard skills)
You are an enthusiastic person who does not give up and is driven by results
You are ambitious and you want to exceed your goals
You have a real business sense and very good interpersonal skills
You are ready to give your 200 %
You are team oriented and eager to share your knowledge
