Automation Project Manager

Are you passionate about orchestrating seamless automation solutions for the chemical, oil & gas sectors? Integration Objects is seeking an Automation Project Manager to oversee turn-key projects, encompassing instrumentation, SCADA, automation, IT, telecommunications, and various other domains. This role entails ensuring that project deliverables align with contract specifications in terms of scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities:

As an Automation Project Manager at Integration Objects, you will be at the forefront of project execution, responsible for:

• Managing the Full Project Cycle: Spearheading the project journey, from gathering initial requirements to meticulously defining execution plans.
• Progress Monitoring: Documenting and closely monitoring project progress by utilizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Success Indicators.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conducting thorough project risk assessments and devising effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintaining transparent communication with all project stakeholders and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Resource Optimization: Efficiently managing project resources to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
• Budget and Schedule Management: Continuously updating and managing the project schedule and budget to maintain alignment with project goals.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Educational Background: A degree in Industrial, Automatic, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMI/SCADA systems, and Telecommunication development.
• Experience of FAT, SAT, operational verification, automation project start-up
• Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Deadline-Oriented: Proficiency in handling tight project deadlines with a high degree of professionalism.
• Language Skills: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills in both French and English.
• PMP training/certification is a plus.
