Nexaminds is a digital talent acquisition and management company that specializes in providing exceptional consulting and project-based services to clients. 

We are looking for a driven Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and network users. The goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, app installs and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. 

As a Social Media specialist, you should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. You are responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand and “soft selling” the product by providing support to current and prospective users.

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for overseeing social media strategies and activities for both company projects and client engagements, ensuring effective delivery of social media and digital communication services as per their specific requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

As a Social Media Specialist you will report directly to the Strategic Marketing Manager to ensure social media strategies are aligned with overarching marketing goals. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification, utilizing analytical and research skills to guide decision-making.
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company's social content. 
  • Design and implement an influencer strategy, identifying and engaging with key influencers to amplify brand messaging and reach. Collaborate with influencers to create and promote engaging content, aligned with brand values and objectives. Monitor and analyze the performance of influencer campaigns, ensuring alignment with the overall social media strategy.
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules. 
  • Develop flair with copywriting and asset creation to create messaging that aligns with the brand and its personality, and drives audiences towards action. 
  • Be responsible for executing A/B and multivariate growth tests. 
  • Be audience centric, focusing on platform and community moderation, as well as direct audience engagement. 
  • Create awareness on integrated campaigns, product launches, industry announcements and core content.
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information. 
  • Collaborate with other marketing professionals to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
  • Do all of the above for client engagements when necessary. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • The Social Media Specialist would preferably have a BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations. Excellent communication, creativity, research and community building are key skills for this position.

  • Experience managing social media platforms for tech brands, part of a content team or marketing agency

  • Hands-on knowledge of social media management tools, knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels

  • Proficiency with at least four social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, LinkedIn, Twitter and Reddit

  • An analytical eye and a good sense for the type of content that performs best depending on platform and objective, reflecting an understanding of both analytical and strategic thinking.

  • Preferred experience in developing and managing influencer strategies, including influencer identification, collaboration, and performance analysis.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and aptitude for forging trusting relationships across diverse, cross-functional teams

  • English Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong content marketer and storyteller

  • Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
