Data Scientist, Python Developer

Position Overview:

As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team. We are seeking a highly analytical individual with a deep passion for analysis, mathematics, and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data and providing actionable solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to the full development cycle, from designing and gathering data to delivering modern investment management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Sourcing and Automation: Identify valuable data sources and develop automated collection processes.
• Data Pre-processing: Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data to prepare it for analysis.
• Front-End Development: Collaborate on designing, developing, and implementing investment portfolio management components. Integrate newly developed components into the existing production platform.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our products by suggesting enhancements across all aspects of development.
• Innovation and Technology: Stay at the forefront of front-end technologies, exploring and proposing innovative design and technologies. Show the ability to use or learn Design Patterns. Have experience with Agile/Scrum or possess basic knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Highly analytical mindset with a strong passion for data analysis, mathematics, and statistics.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Have already a successful experience in development using Python.
• Familiarity with data collection and preprocessing techniques.
• Willingness to embrace new data science and machine learning techniques.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn Angular and Chart.js for front-end development.
• Previous experience or knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
