Confirmed DevOps Engineer

Essential Responsibilities:

- Implementing and managing the deployment process for software applications, including release management, change control, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.

- Optimizing deployment workflows to automate CI/CD processes, updates, monitoring, and analyzing DevOps pipelines to find enhancement opportunities.

- Setting up monitoring systems to oversee production platforms, allowing for proactive detection and resolution of potential issues.

- Leading incident management and collaborating with teams to restore services and implement preventive measures.

- Generating automation scripts to streamline processes.

- Contributing to the development and selection of architecture.

- Designing and implementing infrastructure solutions to promote technical advancement.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution.

- Maintaining up-to-date documentation of deployment processes, system configurations, procedures, and incident reports for relevant stakeholders.

Education:

- Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:

- At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.

Technical skills:

- Knowledge of IT operations best practices and a solid understanding of programming languages, including Java.

- Hands-on experience with configuring and using DevOps tools, along with process automation using popular scripting languages (Perl, Python, Ruby, Shell, JavaScript, etc.).

- Proficiency in cloud services such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.

- Strong understanding of system administration, including monitoring tools, networking concepts, and backups.

- Experience in build, release, and configuration management within a CI/CD environment (version control, configuration management, etc.).

- Familiarity with containerization platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible …).

- Ability to deliver high-performance cloud deployment solutions and maintain rapid deployment pipelines.

- knowledge of best practices regarding system security measures.
