Freelance Server Setup Specialist

We are looking for a skilled freelance server specialist to help set up and optimize our Ubuntu-based servers to handle high traffic loads (thousands of daily users). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in server scalability, performance optimization, and security. 

Responsibilities: 

• Set up and configure Ubuntu 24 servers for a web application. 
• Ensure the server infrastructure can handle thousands of concurrent users. 
• Implement load balancing, caching mechanisms, and database optimizations. 
• Perform server hardening and security protocols (SSL certificates, firewall configurations). 
• Monitor and fine-tune server performance. 
• Set up automated backup and disaster recovery plans. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve any server-related issues. 
• Work closely with our in-house development team to ensure seamless integration. 

Requirements: 

• Proven experience in setting up and managing Ubuntu servers. 
• Strong knowledge of server scalability and optimization techniques. 
• Experience with load balancing and caching solutions. 
• Familiarity with security best practices (SSL, firewalls, etc.). 
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a plus. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot server issues. 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience working with high-traffic environments (10,000+ daily visits). 
• Experience with server monitoring tools and automated backup systems.
