Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced E-commerce Manager to lead our online retail operations. The E-commerce Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s e-commerce strategy to drive sales, grow the online presence, and enhance the customer experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and customer behavior.

Key Responsibilities

E-commerce Strategy and Sales

- Develop and Implement Strategies: Create and execute short-term and long-term strategies to achieve sales growth and profitability targets in alignment with the company’s business objectives. 

- Sales Forecasting & Analysis: Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improving sales and increasing conversions. 

- Pricing and Promotions : Establish and implement competitive pricing strategies and promotions in coordination with the marketing team. 

Website Management

- Website Optimization: Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s website, ensuring seamless navigation and user-friendly design. Work with developers to enhance the site’s UX/UI and implement new features. 

- Product Listing and Management : Ensure accurate and compelling product listings, descriptions, and pricing. Maintain inventory accuracy and implement strategies to improve conversion rates. 

- Content Management: Collaborate with the content and design teams to ensure consistency in branding, visual standards, and communication across all digital platforms. 

Digital Marketing and Growth

- Customer Acquisition & Retention: Develop strategies to increase traffic, improve customer retention, and boost conversions. This includes utilizing SEO/SEM, PPC, email marketing, influencer partnerships, and social media campaigns. 

- CRM and Customer Insights: Utilize CRM systems to analyze customer behavior and purchasing patterns. Make recommendations to improve the customer journey and increase customer loyalty. 

- Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversions, customer acquisition cost (CAC), average order value (AOV), and return on ad spend (ROAS). Prepare regular reports and present findings to senior management. 

Team Management and Collaboration

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, supply chain, design, and customer service teams to ensure seamless coordination in all e-commerce-related activities. 

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing specialists, content creators, and web developers. Set clear goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing training and support to the team. 

Logistics and Customer Service

- Order Fulfillment and Logistics: Oversee the order management and fulfillment process in coordination with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. 

- Customer Support Oversight: Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve escalated issues and improve overall customer service quality. Implement customer feedback strategies to enhance the shopping experience.

Requirements

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent experience in a leadership role is a plus. 

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing an e-commerce business or digital sales in a retail environment, preferably in fashion or consumer goods. 

Skills and Competencies

- E-commerce Expertise: Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and content management systems (CMS). 

- Digital Marketing Skills: Proficiency in digital marketing channels including SEO/SEM, PPC, social media advertising, email marketing, and influencer marketing. 

- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Advanced proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and experience with data analysis to drive business growth. 

- Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, communicate effectively, and influence stakeholders at all levels. 

- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, think creatively, and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment. 

- Customer-Centric Focus: Deep understanding of customer behavior, experience design, and UX/UI principles.
