Cybersecurity Engineer

We are looking to hire a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our SCG team. You will work closely with our IT team and various departments to implement security measures, respond to security incidents, and support the overall cybersecurity infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will provide technical support and assistance to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our organization's information systems and data. Your mission is:Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks.

• Troubleshooting security and network problems.
• Responding to all system and/or network security breaches.
• Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
• Participating in the change management process.
• Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.
• Develop risk management policies/procedures related to information security and implement techniques and methods for assessing these risks.
• Develop the Information Systems Security Policy (ISSP) in compliance with the results of risk analyses, the normative framework, the legal framework, and the regulatory framework and ensure its implementation and periodic review.
• Ensure technological monitoring and propose necessary developments to guarantee the security of information systems.
• Oversee information security awareness to instill a security culture among our staff.
• Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization.

Qualifications:

• Engineer/Master's degree or equivalent in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience, including a minimum initial experience in the security field.
• Security of information systems, security standards (ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 27005, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR/XDR/NDR, antivirus, and vulnerability scanning tools.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
• Organization and oral and written communication.
• Good English language skills required.
