HSE Engineer - Libye

We are looking for a qualified HSE Engineer to ensure the safety of the demolition work of a steam boiler and its accessories. The candidate must be able to guarantee the protection of people and property, manage access, and respond effectively to emergency situations.

Position: HSE Engineer or Senior Safety Technician (01)

Location: Libya, Marsa El Brega
Duration: Two months, renewable
Availability: Immediate 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure site monitoring and safety.
• Control access and verify identities.
• Conduct regular patrols to prevent intrusions or incidents.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations (fire, intrusion, etc.).
• Collaborate with site management teams and law enforcement if necessary.
• Prepare daily reports on incidents or unusual activities.

Required Profile:

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years as an HSE Engineer or Senior Technician, preferably in a high-risk environment.

Education:

• Certificate in safety or equivalent diploma. Certifications in risk management or first aid training are a plus.

Languages:

• Proficiency in Arabic and English is mandatory; French is an asset.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of national and international HSE regulations.
• Ability to prepare high-quality reports with proven writing skills.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (mandatory).
• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly.
• Adaptability to an international environment.
• Sharp observation skills and attention to detail.
• Punctuality and integrity.
• Familiarity with industrial infrastructure projects (Civil Engineering, Mechanics).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
