QA Team Lead

CED Tunisia is a subsidiary of CED Group. It consists of an IT-BI Development center and a Businees Process Operations (BPO) team to support our various European offices and drive operational excellence. We employ 260 professionals as of now and going to recruit a QA Team Lead for the IT department. We are building in Tunis the digitalisation of all our front office applications and part of our middle office. Our solutions are in a Full Stack Environment using the most recent Microsoft Technologies: Angular, C#, .Net, SQL Server databases and Azure Cloud Technology.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Management :

• Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team to achieve testing objectives.
• Assign tasks and ensure team members meet deadlines.
• Promote skill development and encourage a collaborative team environment.

2. Test Strategy and Planning:

• Define and implement a comprehensive QA strategy for projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and create test plans.
• Identify test objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and risk factors.

3. Execution and Monitoring :

• Oversee the execution of manual tests.
• Monitor test progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Ensure defects are reported, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Provide regular testing status updates to stakeholders.

4. Quality Assurance Processes:

• Define, implement, and maintain QA best practices and standards.
• Establish and monitor metrics to assess software quality.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align QA efforts with project goals.
• Act as a point of contact for QA-related queries and concerns.
• Foster open communication between QA and development teams to prevent and resolve defects efficiently.

• Stay updated on the latest QA methodologies, tools, and trends.
• Ensure the team adapts to technological advancements and industry changes.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in testing tools (e.g., Azure Test Plan or others).
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
