Role Overview

We are seeking a IT Business Development Manager with foundational knowledge of the IT industry and startup ecosystem. In this role, you will collaborate with a senior manager to enhance the company’s visibility within the IT community. You’ll work alongside the sales team to craft mutually beneficial proposals, negotiate contracts, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs.
  • Schedule and facilitate business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promote the company’s products and services, addressing and anticipating client objectives.
  • Develop and propose a communication strategy plan for promoting the company, with senior management approval.
  • Provide reliable feedback and ensure consistent after-sales support.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Identify and select relevant IT events for company participation, including organizing exhibitions and related activities.
  • Manage social media accounts in line with the approved communication strategy, emphasizing key IT-focused channels.
  • Prepare and deliver regular progress, milestone, and status reports to senior management.
  • Oversee project documentation, including technical specifications, plans, and status updates.

  • In-depth market knowledge.
  • Initiative-driven with strong problem-solving skills and a data-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication abilities to clearly articulate goals, challenges, and solutions.
  • Proficiency in Excel for analysis and budget management.
  • Willingness to gain expertise in IT project stages, software life cycles, and web application architecture.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar role.
  • Customer support experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Familiarity with IT community activities, including social media marketing, events, and networking.

Hard Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of the business development process.
  • Expertise in budget management.
  • Proficiency in identifying and organizing participation in relevant IT events and engaging with event organizers.
