Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Substation Electrical Engineer to oversee on-site management of substation projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in substation installation, testing, and commissioning and be fluent in English and French. This role involves coordinating with subcontractors and clients, scheduling equipment installation and testing, monitoring construction progress, and preparing reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage on-site electrical activities for substation projects.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and project owners to ensure smooth execution of work.
• Develop and implement installation and testing schedules for substation equipment.
• Supervise construction progress, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports in English and French.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in substation installation, testing, or commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage equipment, protection systems, and site management.
• Proficiency in English and French (both written and spoken).
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple stakeholders, and solve technical issues effectively.
