Value Stream Manager

currently we're looking for our italian client in industry sector a good talent as Value Stream Manager

The candidate will perform the following tasks:

• Collaboration with the Plant Manager in order to achieve general and production’s objectives;
• exercise the management powers assigned to him/her by the plant management, operating in compliance with the directives received, plans and approved strategies, policies and company’s procedures of the productive sector;
• Automatically manage the production process, guaranteeing production within the defined times, quantities and quality standards;
• Coordinate its resources in the areas of quality, engineering, maintenance and line managers, ensuring alignment with the central resources of both the plant and HQ;
• Carry out and monitor safety and environmental activities, conduct the necessary audits and ensure that all other employees operate safely and in compliance with the rules defined;
• Achieve or improve the plant's defined productivity targets (pieces / hour) and ensure that the workforce is flexible;
• Achieve or improve delivery targets by ensuring they are consistent with quality, scrap, inventory and shipping cost objectives;
• Apply the company’s policy and the principles of Lean Manufacturing;
• To train and sensitize its collaborators to the use / interpretation of KPIs;
• Prepare improvement plans and ensure that all employees understand and apply them;
• Conduct regular employee communication meetings;
• Ensure the implementation of employee training and the development of objectives;
• Create an environment of mutual trust, respect and motivation.

The resource must have the following skills:

• 3-5 years experience in modernly organized electronic manufacturing companies with leadership roles
• Schedule flexibility;
• Ability to interpret drawings, worksheets and specifications.
•  Fluent in English
