Finance Director

Our partner is an international production company founded in 2016, specialized in TV content production, who aims to deliver beneficial, knowledgeable content in simplified, entertaining and more creative forms that attract the new generations to become more aware and contributive in the society, through media platforms.

Main responsibilities

• Annual Budgeting of income statement, Balance Sheet & Cash flow negotiations and preparation reporting to group finance management meeting the deadlines for consolidation.
• Updating Quarterly reforecast of the branch in terms of WIP and updating Cash Flow requirements of projects and G&A on regular basis.
• Controlling accounts and preparation of month end closing reports of work in progress and correct cut off of costs and expenses.
• Have end to end oversight of Finance Records in the ERP.
• Monthly write up on financial results Actual Vs Budget presented to the group finance management for consolidation.
• Due Diligence of Vendors, Service Providers and Freelancers Contracts in collaboration with Legal and Production.
• Managing Funds requirements and preparation of payments following the approvals according to finance policies and procedures.
• Ensuring Adherence to Tax regularities and filing on timely basis of income Tax, Social Securities and VAT
• Working closely with Production Finance and Production team to ensure compliance and governance requirements are met.
• Business Partnering with Head Office team giving advice related to policies and business development.
• Collaboration with Auditors to ensure smooth Audit process meeting group submission deadlines.

• Strong Knowledge of IFRS and Audit requirements
• Minimum 5+ Experience in Finance and ERP systems
• University Degree in Finance, CPA, CMA, CA, ACCA are advantageous.
• Media Industry experience is advantageous or any International Service Contracting Business
• Strong Interpersonal and presentation skills
• Problem Solver with a dynamic and progressive mindset
• Experience in Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point an Microsoft Dynamics
• English is a must to have
