Systems Administrator Senior (Linux)

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for administering, implementing, configuring, maintaining, and securing systems in a large enterprise environment: 

• Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot and audit the infrastructure.
• Maintain reliable, secure, and robust operation of server environment including software releases and system backups.
• Administration of virtualized hosts and provisioning of virtual machines under VMWare.
• Follows operational procedures to appropriately analyse, escalate, and assist in the remediation of critical information security incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Keep up to date on the latest technologies and trends.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support as required.
• Work one weekend a month.

What you bring:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in information technology maintaining Linux-based servers. 
• Working knowledge of Linux Bash shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Linux Red Hat patching. 
• Knowledge of Linux kernel tuning. 
• Experience with LDAP, DNS, and basic knowledge of networking. 
• Troubleshooting, information digging, and root cause analysis skills.
