Content Editor

This position is an important role within the ROL organization as the organization has invested highly in the growth of our product within the Americas Region and United-Kingdom. The Board feels strongly about this investment and therefore expects results within the region. To that extent, the unique advantage that ROL delivers is a solution that comprises: Software, Regulatory Content, and Consulting from one source. No other vendor presents a Global Solution or Offering like ROL. Therefore, this is an important role within ROL – it requires the candidate to be responsible for one-third of our offering, specifically the development, integration, and delivery of the highest quality of content in the Americas and United-Kingdom.

Role and responsibilities:

Responsible for the upkeep of our environmental health and safety legal content, which includes inputting new content to aid the EHS Legal Specialists, formatting it in a manner that creates an overall positive experience for the client users, and maintaining the content as it is amended to keep our content up to date. 

Work with EHS Legal Specialists to obtain texts necessary to complete these tasks, utilizing various communication tools to work effectively with the team. 

Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail, proficiency in MS Excel, and be comfortable searching the internet and browsing various federal and state websites to obtain the information necessary for the editing process.

Responsibilities include:

• Proofread and edit federal, state, and municipal content to reflect amendments and ensure consistency;
• Ensure that content is formatted in a way that meets our clients’ needs, and is in adherence with ROL’s standards;
• Use ROL’s specific interface and conventions to organize, modify, and update existing content;
• Verify content and information;
• Maintain good working relationships with a team of EHS Legal Specialists to obtain needed texts and ensure accurate information is provided.
