QA Functional Engineer

We are currently seeking a QA Functional Engineer to join our Quality team who's passionate about delivering outstanding client experience, building lasting relationships, and winning work! 

You will work on the design and implementation of Manual tests for features, performance, and scalability of software services 

Responsibilities: 

• Collect all the information necessary to understand the scope of work to be validated. 
• Be part of the quality process from the early functional analysis until running the tests and reporting the results 
• Document the early phase of the quality assurance by producing necessary diagrams to identify the personae, the functional components, and the system limits  
• Develop functional test plans by analyzing user tory specifications and various communications with the Product Owner 
• Contribute to the estimation and costing of test tasks 
• Perform product acceptance tests (knowledge of Jira and Confluence would be a plus) by regularly communicating progress and execution results 
• Follow up on bugs, from their discoveries to their corrections. 
• Control the quality measurements and highlight the quality killers as soon as possible 
• Set up the battery of non-functional tests: Performance tests, security tests, load tests, etc. 
• Identify the tests to be automated and contribute to the writing of the corresponding scripts under Selenium and ensure their proper

Job requirements : 

• You have customer sensitivity (external and internal) and understand functional and business issues 
• You are passionate about the quality assurance profession and enjoy solving problems 
• You have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in French and in English. 
• You can contribute to activity reporting to the QA Manager and to knowledge sharing within the team 
• You are a force of proposal for the improvement of the quality process 
• You prefer to work in a team 
• You have knowledge of: 

              -  TDD/BDD/ATDD Software Testing Methodologies 
              - Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) 
              - Test Automation tools (selenium, cucumber, Gherkin,…)
