COFICAB Tunisia is looking for: Accounting Specialist

Job purpose:

Performs accounting &Tax activities and operations such as accounts receivable & payable book entries, fixed assets accounting and financial statements preparation in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.  Performs  internal control activities over financial transactions and reporting in order to ensure financial information accuracy, reliability and integrity.

Job Accountabilities:

Performs accounting tasks related to the day to day AR processing such as bills, credit memo, payement receipt verification and posting  to ensure its accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Performs effectively and accurately accounting tasks related to the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions in line with applicable standards and regulations such as registering and posting received invoices/credit memo on the information system, checking its accuracy and compliance (three way matching) and transmitting invoices to treasury for payment

Records fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system and calculates depreciation for all fixed assets. Participates to fixed assets inventory and performs regular reconciliation of FA record with physical assets inventory.

Performs monthly and/or yearly closing activities including materials and products inventory, data reconciliation and end period posting operations. Prepares financial & tax disclosures in compliance with local tax regulations.

Performs banks accounts reconciliations ( Payroll, O2C, P2P, Sundry),etc , identifies & investigates differences and proposes adequate actions to resolve according to defined procedures and applicable standards.

Prepares tax return in compliance with local tax regulation and performs financial and tax disclosure.  Provides required information to external auditors.

Prepares, communicates and reviews Accounting KPI's and defines accordingly continuous improvement plans of processes, procedures and systems to meet the Finance department and the Company's objectives. 

Complies with the Quality and EHS Systems requirements. Complies with corporate values, code of conducts and non disclosure agreement.

Educational Background (or equivalent level): Bac+3/Bac+5 in Finance/Accounting

Required Experience : Minimum 2 years

Functional and Technical Competencies: Accounting & Tax procedures, Accounting standards (IFRS, Local Standard), Accounting & Tax regulations, Internal control, Analytical and problem solving skills, data analysis, Reporting skills, Risk Management.

Language and Software Skills:

MS Office Softwares ( Excel, Words, PPT, ..), ERP finance applications.

SAP knowledge is required.
