As a Process Engineer at Wewire , you will be responsible for:
Contributing to the achievement of department and site objectives, with a focus on KPIs.
Actively participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, minimize scrap rates, and improve overall department and site results.
Adhering to the company's internal regulations and promptly addressing and resolving problems reported by engineering managers.
Managing actions related to process cutting, twisting, welding, assembly, and other relevant activities.
Maintaining regular communication with internal departments such as production, quality, engineering, and project management.
Ensuring compliance with assigned actions and deadlines, as well as escalation rules.
Collaborating with representatives from various departments to solve technological problems, including FMEA updates.
Creating and updating layouts and flowcharts for production processes and machines.
Taking responsibility for the release of new equipment/tools based on CMK analysis and the preparation of parameter sheets.
Installing new equipment or transferring existing equipment, ensuring optimal conditions for operation.
Improving instructions and procedures related to processes, particularly in cutting areas, pre-assembly, and assembly.
Participating in lessons learned meetings related to processes.
Developing, implementing, and adhering to procedures and customer standards.
Managing work plans, identification creations, and sample production follow-up.
Optimizing workstation ergonomics and chain balancing.
Overseeing the implementation of technical changes from reception to full implementation.
Checking the impact of technical changes on capacity studies in terms of equipment and personnel/work plan.
Cooperating with the Timing Engineer to optimize production time and output.
Collaborating in the elaboration and definition of corrective and preventive measures following internal and external claims.
Studying specific cases claimed by production and providing necessary, reliable, and timely information to colleagues.
Ensuring compliance with administrative procedures, including absence and holiday management.
Controlling and ensuring strict compliance with safety instructions and quality standards.
Representing the Process Manager in meetings and taking necessary actions in case of absence.

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following technical skills:
Language Skills: Good written and spoken English/French, with German as an advantage.
Good knowledge of machines and technical drawings, as well as lean manufacturing principles.
Analytical, solution-oriented, and structured way of working.
Proficiency in 2D design with Autocad.
Good knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
