Engineering Manager

We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Engineering Manager within our dynamic organization linked to Central engineering Director. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in elevating production efficiency by focusing on workstation optimization, workflow enhancement, implementation of ergonomic workstations and the implementation of new process for new & transferred project.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Managing a team of engineers and technicians.
Follow the daily task for engineering department.
Implement workstation balancing strategies for improved production efficiency.
Optimize workflow to maximize productivity within the production process.
Ensure the design of ergonomic workstations to create a healthy and comfortable working environment.
Develop detailed work plans to guide the production team effectively.
Foster a culture of innovation within the production team and promote continuous improvement in workplace hygiene and safety.
Follow up the implementation of process for new project and transfer activities (certification in PMP is a desirable asset).
Ability to manage different project at the same time.
 

Qualifications:
 
Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in automotive harness production sector.
Expertise: Proficient in applying optimization methods and effective problem-solving techniques.
Software Knowledge: Good understanding of relevant software tools.( SAP- MS project is recommended)
Educational Background: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
Language Skills: Fluent in both French and English, with proficiency in German being a desirable asset.
Personal Qualities: Dynamic, proactive, with excellent organizational and leadership skills, and a strong personality.
