Robotics Software Engineer

Focusing on programming robots for trajectory planning and obstacle avoidance using ROS (Robot Operating System), Gazebo, and RViz, your role will involve developing cutting-edge solutions for both wheeled and flying robots.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement trajectory planning and obstacle avoidance algorithms.
• Design and integrate software systems using ROS, Gazebo, and RViz.
• Optimize software performance for real-time operation.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics and AI.
• Contribute to establishing best practices, coding standards, and software development methodologies.

Requirements:

• (Bac+5) in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience in robotics software development, particularly in ROS.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
• Familiarity with simulation tools like Gazebo and visualization tools such as RViz.
• Understanding of robot kinematics, dynamics, and control principles.
• Experience with trajectory planning and obstacle avoidance techniques.
• Knowledge of software development best practices including version control (e.g., Git).
