Lead planner and cost control engineer

FIAL engineering and procurement services is currently looking for a planning & cost control engineer .

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Preparation of planning, scheduling and progress control activities in multidiscipline EPC project for the oil & gas construction industries.
• Shall have sound exposure in preparing EPC schedule value above US$100 million for oil & gas upstream facilities involving pipeline / Flow line/ Well heads and Manifolds / Station jobs.
• Well versed with Primavera P7 version and MS project software packages
• Knowledge of financial management with good understanding of budget and costing and cost control activities
• Shall be adept in preparing detailed planning package covering L3/L4 schedule and also Up to L6, histogram, EPC curves, progress measurement system, critical path analysis and recovery plan etc.
• Develop and implement cost control procedures
• Collaborate with project managers to identify cost-saving opportunities
• To track the overall project schedule and project cost to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
• Value Engineering, cash flow forecasts, Whole Life Costing, risk management.

Qualification:

• Requires B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering degree
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in oil & gas construction industries (EPC , EPCM)
• Proficiency in power BI / Primavera P7
• Ability to execute tasks independently and to work within a team environment
• Excellent presentation, communication skills, and interpersonal skills
