Database Architect

Rhformaconsult, spécialisé dans le recrutement et le consulting RH, recrute pour le compte de son client multinational de déstockage le profil "Database Architect".

Mission

▪ Business Requirements: understand the data managements needs and requirements

▪ Strategy and solutions: select and implement appropriate database platforms based on specific data requirements and performance needs.

▪ Design database systems: design, develop logical and physical data models for new applications. Develop and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and stored procedure definitions.

▪ Performance: monitor and optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and normalization techniques.

▪ Security: implement robust data security measures to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and access control.

▪ Collaboration and technical guidance: work together with colleagues from other IT teams on performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery planning. Guide your colleagues on best practices in database design, build, maintenance and overall governance.

▪ Project management: participate in database migrations and upgrades. Lead or contribute to IT projects implementation, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards. Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

▪ Grow: stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends.

Requirements

▪ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

▪ Minimum 5 years of experience as a Database Architect or related role.

▪ Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing database solutions across multiple solutions such as SQL Server/ Oracle Database/ PostgreSQL/ MariaDB

▪ Experience and knowledge with multiple relational and NoSQL database platforms is a strong plus.

▪ Strong understanding of data modeling principles and normalization techniques.

▪ In-depth knowledge of SQL language and proficiency in writing efficient queries.

▪ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

▪ Strong communication and collaboration skills.

▪ Very good communication skills in English (oral and written) – French is a plus

▪ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
