Machine Learning Python Engineer

Context

As a Devops \ Machine Learning Engineer you will need to build and manage the Data Science ecosystem and integrate models into the IT infrastructure of the Organization.

Function description

Machine Learning DevOps Engineer with a proven track record deploying python applications and/or data science models. You should be specialized or have a strong interest in secure development practices as well as continuous testing and deployment.

You will have the opportunity to work at initiatives in smart automation and  machine learning. 

You will work to maintain and improve the workbench environment of the data scientists as well as monitor and deploy Analytics &v AI models.

As part of your duties, you will have to work on the following:

• Assist data scientist in setting up project by helping them identify and install the correct dependencies in their environment, provide them with a basic project that comes with all the required tooling for code quality and continuous testing.
• Interface between data scientists and IT to bring new models to production and guarantee that all quality checks are met.
• Act in case of incident. Identify possible causes and dispatch requests to the appropriate squads. Communicate with project stakeholders on the status of those incidents and provide post mortem analysis.
• Explore new ways of combining the available tools of the Organization to unlock new capabilities for data scientists to bring AI into the Organization.
• Communicate the fruits of your work directly to the management.

Language requirements

• English (Mandatory): Strong written and spoken communication skills
• French: Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Education

• You have at least a Master degree in computer science.
• Candidates with other academic backgrounds with substantial knowledge of Programming, System Engineering, or DevOps are also encouraged to apply.

Required experience / knowledge

You have at least 3 years of relevant experience and at least 1 year related to Data Science and Analytics.

MANDATORY - Technical experience

• Strong experience in Python !!
• experience with http rest APIs
• experience with Git (version control system).
• Experience in MLOps / DevOps

• software testing.
• Linux operating system experience
• experience in containerization (Docker, Podman)
