Data Engineer – Senior

Context

As DATA Engineer within IT Production, you'll be helping the data team preparing and making data available in a safe and secure manner, for multiple purposes, reporting, analytics and/or applications.

The goal is to perform the IT Production related activities linked to the data activities.

Function description

Main objectives are:

• To help designing and implementing the data model on the datalake
• To analyse the best golden sources of data and define the business and technical rules on how to integrate them
• To prototype the solution in order to support the business validation together with IT delivery data engineers
• Develop the logical and physical data models and data stores, and to industrialise the feeding and deliveries from the integrated data stores (datawarehouse, datamarts, data sets) together with IT Delivery and responsible to push it into production environment
• To streamline these data pipelines across the enterprise, for maximum usage throughout the company or business/function
• Operate & maintain the ETL environment & filetransfers
• Responsible for all changes in Pre-prod & prod

Language requirements

• English (Mandatory): Strong written and spoken communication skills
• French: Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Education: You have at least a bachelor degree.

Certification: Python, SQL.

Required experience / knowledge

You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics.

Technical experience

• MANDATORY : Python, Oracle, MS SQL, HDFS, Hive, DWH, ETL
• Preferable: IBM Datastage, Informatica suite; BI reporing tools, cloud.
