Sage 100 Database Specialist

About us LRT eMobility is part of LRT Automotive, a German company with a long and successful history in the manufacturing of car engine components. Over the past two years, we have been focused on expanding our product range to meet the requirements of environmentally friendly electric vehicles. We have introduced a range of electric vehicle chargers to the market, and offer market-leading software to support this technology.

We are looking for a skilled Sage Database Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis. The primary focus of this role will be to support our IT department in exporting significant amounts of data from our Sage database system to a new platform. This role requires deep expertise in Sage database systems and a proven track record of managing large-scale data migrations.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the existing Sage database setup and prepare detailed plans for data extraction and migration.
• Implement data export processes ensuring data integrity and compliance with all regulatory data standards.
• Work closely with IT team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising during the export process.
• Document all phases of the data export process, including data mapping, transformation rules, and export validation.
• Provide training and support to team members on handling Sage database systems during the transition period.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Sage database management and data export initiatives.
• Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, and data mining.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Sage database management or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SQL and other database technologies.
• Prior experience in data migration projects.
