We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated Junior Test Engineer to join our engineering team. You will ensure the quality and reliability of our software products by identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers to drive high-quality releases and recommending corrective actions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with testing processes, including creating a test plan and opening bugs

• Building, coding, and implementing software evaluation test programs.

• Running test programs to ensure that testing protocols evaluate the software correctly.

• Monitor and improve test performance, reliability, and stability

• Collaborate closely with all departments to comprehend the product goal and create a high-quality product

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure test environments are properly configured and maintained

• Perform root cause analysis for test failures and work closely with engineering teams to resolve them

• Validate APIs, UI components, and database-level data integrity.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Recently graduated in computer science, software engineering, or similar field.

• 0- 1 years of experience (internships, academic projects, or freelance work accepted).

• Eligible for a CIVP contract.

• Strong interpersonal skills, Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Skills:

• Proficiency with integration testing, unit testing

• A good understanding CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Docker, and Kubernetes basics

• Familiarity with designing, writing, and maintaining test plans, test cases/flows, and test strategies

• Some Experience in manual + automated testing for web, mobile, backend, and embedded systems

• Skilled in short-term and long-term system testing preferred.

• Exposure to Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices

• A good understanding of Typescript, HTML, Python, SCSS, and HCL, Dart, Flutter, C/C++, Rust

• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments

• Understanding database concepts and the ability to write queries for data validation and verification during testing.
