Main responsibilities include:

• Responsible for collecting health data of new employees
• Supporting all aspects of health and safety
• Establishing, managing and monitoring standards, processes, communications, training and systems to ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements.
• Contributing to quality systems and promoting a clean and safe working environment by ensuring that all duties are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Handling health issues and accidents arising during work, assisting the Doctor in issuing certificates of aptitude for employees.
• Responsible for managing health issues and injuries
• Discussing and advising management during meetings and analysing the causes of accidents.
• Responsible for the stock of medical supplies (first aid).
• Contact person for the hospital, doctor or other emergency services
• Develop and deliver training to employees to raise awareness of hygiene, safety and security
• Establish an annual analysis schedule (water, copro)
• Complete the checklist weekly, verifying the work in the greenhouse/packaging
• Report the degree of compliance with quality guidelines to the Management Board and the Quality Manager
• Monitor the cleaning process and schedules
• Make sure that all workplaces (greenhouse, technical area, packing hall), machines and equipment are safe and equipped with adequate safety devices
• Make sure that safety equipment is provided to all employees

• Higher University Diploma in Hygiene/Nursing/Health and Safety
• Previous experience as a hygienist/nurse
• Practical knowledge of first aid in health and safety and legislation governing accidents at work
• Professional, caring, and patient-focused attitude
• Accurate, organized, and detail oriented
• Have a strong team spirit and good communication skills
• Good English
