Desert Joy is looking for a Buyer to join its dynamic team.

He/She will be responsible for managing the company’s procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, materials, and services. The objective is to ensure the best balance between cost, quality, and delivery time, while maintaining a smooth and efficient supply chain

Responsibilities

• Ensure procurement meets cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Conduct market research and monitor price trends
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers
• Negotiate contracts and improve purchasing terms
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Handle supplier issues (pricing, quality, delivery, invoicing)
• Monitor and update purchase orders and inventory
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and certifications
• Analyze costs and identify saving opportunities
• Prepare reports and comparative analysis for management
• Collaborate with finance on invoices and contracts

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3 minimum)
• Proven experience in purchasing or manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of procurement processes
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
• Good command of English (written & spoken)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with Sage is required
