I. Company Overview:

Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team at Sfax Base, ensuring the reliability of our
equipment through combined electrical and mechanical expertise.

II. Mission of the Role:
To ensure the optimal operational condition of Sud Béton’s trucks, special engines, and
mechanical/electrical equipment at Sfax Base. This role focuses on hands-on maintenance and
troubleshooting of integrated systems, contributing directly to site productivity and safety.

III. Key Responsibilities:
1. Electro-Mechanical Maintenance & Repair :
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on site vehicles, concrete mixers, pumps,
batching plant engines, and other equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults and execute effective
repairs in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and performance standards.
2. Vehicle & Specialized Equipment Operation :
• Safely operate site trucks.
• Perform pre- and post-operation checks on vehicles and report issues immediately.
3. Site Support & Team Collaboration :
• Support the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of both electrical and mechanical
aspects of the batching plant and other production equipment.
• Work closely with operators and foremen to minimize equipment downtime.
• Participate in safety meetings and strictly adhere to all company HSE policies.
4. Workshop & Inventory Management :
• Keep the site workshop and maintenance areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Procurement Coordinator to manage
spare parts and consumables.

I. Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Technical diploma in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Mechanics, or a
related field.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience, preferably in construction or heavy
industry.
• Valid professional driver’s license is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills are a strong advantage.
• Fluency in Arabic; good working knowledge of French.
• Physically fit and able to work in a demanding outdoor site environment.
