About Kudra.ai

Kudra.ai is the intelligent document processing platform powering production AI pipelines for insurance underwriting, financial services, trade finance, and the MENA region. We help enterprises extract structured, semantically enriched data from complex documents — from ACORD forms to Arabic-language contracts — so their AI agents and RAG systems actually work in production. We're a small, high-velocity team building systems that handle scale.

What you'll work on

• Design and maintain high-throughput LLM inference pipelines and document extraction services using Python, FastAPI, and Django
• Build and optimize data pipelines with Apache Airflow for large-scale document processing workflows
• Architect and evolve our RAG infrastructure — chunking strategies, embedding pipelines, retrieval quality, and prompt engineering
• Migrate and harden microservices on GCP Cloud Run and AWS Lambda, optimizing for latency, memory, and cost
• Implement caching strategies (Redis LRU, write-through) and async processing to scale concurrent load
• Write integration tests, maintain 80%+ pytest coverage, and own production reliability for your services
• Contribute to frontend integrations connecting Angular/React UIs to backend APIs across product lines

• 3+ years with Python in production (Django, FastAPI, or Flask)
• Hands-on LLM integration: prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning workflows
• Cloud experience: AWS (Lambda, EC2) or GCP (Cloud Run, GCS)
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong grasp of async patterns, caching, and distributed systems
• Comfort with Elasticsearch or similar search/retrieval systems
• Experience owning services end-to-end in a startup environment

Nice to have

• Go for performance-critical services or IPC layers
• Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tooling
• NLP/document understanding background
• Frontend exposure: React or Angular
• SOC 2 / security implementation experience
• Arabic language or MENA market familiarity
• Open-source contributions
