Position Overview

 As the Head of Quality, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously improving the company’s quality strategy. You will ensure that all products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. You will lead the quality team, drive a culture of zero defects, and work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
• Define quality policies, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for all production and service processes.
• Lead the quality control team in performing inspections, tests, and audits at incoming, in-process, and final stages of cable manufacturing.
• Manage customer and supplier quality – handle complaints (8D, 5 Why, CAPA), lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and other problem-solving tools.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to quality processes.
• Prepare and present quality reports and dashboards to senior management.
• Train and mentor staff on quality standards, measurement techniques, and quality culture.
• Coordinate external audits and certifications; act as management representative for quality matters.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering during new product introduction (APQP, PPAP) to ensure quality from design to mass production

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in quality management, preferably within the cabling, wiring harness, automotive, or electronics manufacturing industry.
• Certifications: Lead Auditor (ISO 9001), Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or ASQ Certified Manager of Quality is a strong plus.
• Technical skills: Deep knowledge of quality tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA, control plans, PPAP, APQP, 8D). Familiar with cable testing standards (continuity, insulation resistance, high voltage, pull force, etc.).
• Soft skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities. Fluent in English (French and Arabic are advantageous).
• Other: Proven ability to manage teams, handle customer audits (OEMs), and drive cultural change toward zero defects.
