LRT Innovation Labs is looking for an experienced Hardware Design Engineer specialized in PCB development using Altium to join our engineering team.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong experience in multi-layer PCB design, power electronics, and mixed-signal hardware development.

You will contribute to the design and optimization of next-generation electric vehicle charging systems, working closely with embedded software, firmware, and product development teams.

This is a key technical role with strong growth potential within an innovative and fast-paced engineering environment.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance PCB layouts using Altium Designer
  • Work on multi-layer boards (4+ layers) for power and mixed-signal applications
  • Improve and optimize existing hardware designs based on product requirements
  • Support hardware integration with firmware and embedded software teams
  • Perform circuit simulation and validation using tools such as SPICE
  • Participate in hardware testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
  • Ensure compliance with EMI / EMC / CE certification standards
  • Optimize component selection and BOM cost/performance
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and design files
  • Support prototype validation and production readiness

Exigences de l'emploi

  • Engineering degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in PCB design and hardware development
  • Strong proficiency with Altium Designer
  • Proven experience with multi-layer PCB layouts
  • Good knowledge of analog, digital, and power electronics
  • Experience with MCU interfaces and communication protocols
    • UART
    • SPI
    • I2C
    • CAN
    • RS485 / RS232
    • Modbus
  • Familiarity with lab tools:
    • oscilloscope
    • logic analyzer
    • signal generator
  • Good troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Professional level English communication

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in EV chargers / power electronics
  • Knowledge of EMC / EMI compliance
  • Familiarity with ISO 15118 / SAE J1772
  • SPICE simulation experience
  • Embedded Linux hardware exposure
