Your Role & Responsibilities

 As a "Logistics & Customer Service Specialist", you are the operational heart of our daily supply chain.

You ensure that sold goods are delivered to our international customers efficiently, on time, and according to agreement.

You constantly switch gears between internal departments and external logistics partners. 

 Inbound Coordination & Shipment Tracking:

 In close cooperation with the procurement team, you monitor the arrival of overseas containers and shipments.

You ensure timely and correct pre-notifications to our central warehouses and provide them with exact packing lists in advance.

 Receiving & Reconciliation:

As soon as a shipment is discharged at the warehouse, you review the receiving report.

You meticulously compare these figures (quantities, net weights) with our original packing list to instantly register and flag any discrepancies. 

Order & Transport Planning:** The sales team sells goods from free stock or cargo *en route.

You translate these sales into reality: you issue daily transport orders to the warehouses to prepare shipments and book freights with our fixed international transport partners.

 Customer Service & Proactive Communication:

You are the main operational contact point for our international clients and carriers.

You handle inquiries regarding delivery times and resolve operational issues (such as transit damage or shortages) swiftly and service-mindedly. 

 Inventory Management & Administration:

You are numerically responsible for the integrity of our stock.

You perform daily checks and execute weekly and monthly stock reconciliations to guarantee that the administrative inventory in our ERP system matches the physical reality at the warehouses 100%. 

 Invoicing & Credit Control: Once the carrier has loaded the goods, you prepare international transport documents (such as CMRs) and commercial sales invoices to dispatch them to the client.

In close contact with finance, you strictly monitor credit limits: no goods are released or loaded if a customer's financial status does not clear security.

Your Profile :

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related business field) or possess equivalent professional experience in a similar international logistics or planning role.
• You are commercially alert and logistically strong, combined with sharp analytical and numerical insight. Working with precision is an automated reflex for you.
• You possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational power, and stress resistance. You easily maintain an overview in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• You are fluent in English (written and spoken). A strong active knowledge of Dutch, German or Spanish is highly valued in our international trading context.
