We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Mechanical Technician to join our

construction team in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The

successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing,

and maintaining a fleet of 30 vehicles and heavy construction

machines. This role involves both workshop and field-based work,

supporting public and private infrastructure projects including design,

construction, renovation, and maintenance. The ideal candidate has

5–10 years of hands-on experience with hydraulic systems and heavy

equipment, and is fluent in French and Arabic. Reporting to the 

Workshop Manager, the technician will ensure maximum equipment

uptime, safety compliance, and operational efficiency across all

project sites.

Coordinate with the Workshop Manager to prioritize repairs based on

project schedules

Manage spare parts inventory and request necessary components in a

timely manner

Adhere to all workshop safety protocols and company maintenance

procedures

Provide technical guidance to junior mechanics when required

Respond to emergency breakdowns to minimize disruption to

construction activities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems on 30 vehicles and

heavy construction machines

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize equipment

downtime

Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and

steering systems

Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings for

accurate repairs

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and parts usage

reports
