Report to Plant Director – Product : circuit breakers for industrial equipment and truck market

You are driving production and maintenance performance in manual/semi-automated process in low/medium series production with very high number of product variants.

You are responsible for planning, organizing and overseeing production and maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency and business objectives.

Direct reports : 4 production team leaders and 6 maintenance members

Working Shifts : 1 – sometimes 2 

• Plan and coordinate production schedules with Supply Chain department
• Plan and organize maintenance activities to support the production team
• Organize and oversee production and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Environnement, Safety standards and technical specifications
• Monitor performance, identify issues and implement corrective actions
• Lead, coach and manage production and maintenance team
• Participate and coordinate actions related to machine stoppage or machine renovation
• Ensure production targets, delivery deadlines and KPI are met
• Propose and drive continuous improvements
• Maintain dashboards and track operational performance
• Collaborate cross functionally to resolve operational challenges
• Support and maintain ISO9001&ISO14001 certification
• Set up IATF16949 in its area of responsibility
• Work according to Lean principle (Shopfloor, 5S, Kanban, Kaizen, Gemba…)
• Any other topics related to production/maintenance role

• Engineer in industrial or mechanical or electromechanical field
• Proficient in English and French
• Minimum 8 years as production/maintenance manager in industry with experience in automotive business
• Problem solving tools (5W, Ishikawa, 8D, PDCA…)
• Demonstrate experience in team management including change and performance management
• Proficient on ERP: AX and/or SAP
• Proficient on Computerized Maintenance management Software
• Able to travel time to time within the group
• Proactive, Autonomous, Organized and able to prioritize actions
