We are seeking a quality inspector for an aeronautical (aerospace) manufacturing environment, specialized in composite structures. The role focuses on in-process inspections during assembly, bonding, and integration operations.

The inspector ensures that all manufacturing steps are performed in compliance with the quality requirements, approved documentation and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manufacturing Inspection

Perform inspections during the assembly of the different components:

• Bonding / gluing processes (panel-to-panel, panel-to-metallic inserts, structural bonding)
• Honeycomb core removal from composite aircraft panels
• Installation of functional aircraft components prior to closure or next assembly step (retainers, doors, pull-out tables, and similar elements)
• Fit checks and assembly verification on aircraft structural parts

1. Process Compliance Verification

Ensure full compliance with the requirements, including:

• Product identification and configuration control
• Use of approved aerospace tooling, jigs, and fixtures
• Verification of correct materials and consumables (aerospace-approved only)
• Process readiness prior to start of operations
• Monitoring of in-process conditions during execution

1. Quality Control & Release for Aerospace Production

• Verify accept/reject criteria before:
• Structural closure operations
• Curing processes (autoclave or equivalent if applicable)
• Assembly progression to next station
• Release of parts to subsequent aerospace manufacturing operations
• Ensure accurate completion of inspection records and manufacturing documentation
• Conduct basic dimensional checks using standard measuring tools

Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree with 1+years experience OR Technician experience with 2-3 years experience
• Proven experience in aerospace quality inspection or composite manufacturing

• Good knowledge of:
• Aerospace bonding and structural assembly processes
• Composite materials (especially honeycomb sandwich structures)
• Fit-check and structural assembly verification in aeronautics
• Ability to interpret:
• Drawings
• Work instructions and inspection criteria
• Quality documentation (AS9100 / EN9100 environment preferred)
• Other skills:
• Good working knowledge of English (minimum intermediate level)
• High precision and attention to detail (critical in aerospace)
• Strong autonomy in decision-making (accept/reject authority)
