Your Role As a Data Architect, you will take a leading role in designing and structuring the company’s data platform and architecture. You will operate at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring that data is reliable, accessible, and supports operational and strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities include: Leading the data architecture vision and ensuring alignment across projects and teams Defining and implementing data models (conceptual, logical, physical) across operational and analytical domains Designing and evolving a modern Azure-based data platform (data lake, pipelines, analytics) Setting up and promoting data governance principles, standards, and best practices Translating business needs into scalable data solutions in close collaboration with stakeholders Supporting and mentoring the data engineering team, bringing structure and seniority Coordinating with external partners and ensuring alignment with architectural guidelines Collaborating with other architects (infrastructure, application, security, integration) to ensure end-to-end coherence Your Environment International company active in 30+ countries Global IT team of approximately 50 people Data team currently composed of 2 data engineers Modern data platform with a focus on Azure technologies and real-time data flows Strong operational context with complex, business-critical data Close collaboration between IT and business teams What You Bring Proven experience in data architecture, data modelling, and data pipeline design Hands-on experience with Azure data services (Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse or similar) Good understanding of batch and streaming data processing Solid knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security principles Ability to bridge business and IT, translating requirements into structured solutions Strong communication skills in English You are someone who: Brings seniority and structure to a growing environment Enjoys collaboration and alignment rather than working in isolation Can challenge stakeholders constructively and explain decisions clearly Has a genuine interest in understanding the business behind the data Why This Role Stands Out Key position with high visibility and impact Opportunity to shape and structure the data platform from an early stage Modern tech environment with limited legacy constraints Direct interaction with senior stakeholders and decision-makers Strong collaboration with other architectural domains
