VACANCY DETAILS

Position:                          MOBILE CRANE OPERATOR              

Department / Division:     MAINTENANCE / PROJECTS

Purpose:                          SKILLED WORKER

Duties:                              PERFORM LIFTING / LOADING WORKS

Main Responsibilities:     Operate mobile crane to lift and move materials, machines or products                                   to its assigned location and execute daily routine check / maintenance

                                         Conformity to safe lifting operations

                                         Follow HSE procedures (PPE & safe work awareness)

Location:     All VAOS sites within Libya either on project execution or maintenance activities.

Relationships: The post holder will be accountable to the Foreman / Supervisor and will have relationships with Project Co-workers.

Environment:  Coastal & desert work locations

COMPETENCE CRITERIA

Work Experience:            MINIMUM 5 YEARS / FAVORED AGE 25 – 40 YEARS

Skills / Qualifications:     DRIVING LICENCE / CRANE OPERATOR CERTIFICATE

                                         VERY GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF CRANE, LIFTING EQUIPMENT,                                           LIFTING METHODS, MAINTENANCE AND TOOLS INVOLVED

                                         INTERPRET, UNDERSTAND AND USE LOAD CHART

                                         ARITHMETIC, ALGEBRA & GEOMETRY KNOWLEDGE

SUFFICENT ENGLISH TO COORDINATE ACTIVITIES, READ AND UNDERSTAND WORK ORDERS, DATA SHEETS, OPERATION / MAINTENANCE MANUAL OF EQUIPMENT USED
