We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Tester for our backend and VoIP Team. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches, creating test cases and their execution plans and developing manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain test cases for new and existing features, based on our product specifications.
• Execute test campaigns on MCPTT/MCX features across server-side components and mobile clients (Android / iOS), validating that product behaviour matches specifications.
• Capture logs and analyze network traffic (SIP / RTP / RTCP / Diameter) to reproduce reported issues, identify the root-causes, and document findings with traces.
• Report, prioritize and track defects with the development teams, and validate hot-patches and fixes.
• Write automated tests using the inputs of developers and/or tickets from clients, and integrate them into our CI pipeline.

Technical Skills

• Minimum 3 years of relevant QA experience in functional and manual testing (web and/or mobile iOS / Android).
• Experience in test-plan and test-case creation from technical specifications, including documented protocols such as 3GPP/RFC.
• Protocol / state-machine reasoning: comfortable with message exchanges, timers, retries and errors within the logs.
• Solid IP networking and VoIP fundamentals (TCP / UDP, client-server sessions, ports).
• Packet-capture literacy: able to investigate a Wireshark / tcpdump trace, track a call flow and spot the anomaly.
• Comfortable on the Linux command line: log interpretation, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Scripting for automation or tooling (Python/Bash/JavaScript/Mocha/Node.js).
• Experience with large-scale / carrier-grade products.

Nice to have :

• Knowledge on 3GPP mission-critical services (MCPTT / MCX).
• Knowledge on diameter and the core-network policy plane such as: Rx interface, PCRF, QoS and dedicated bearers.
