Matrixcel Business is looking for an Automotive E-commerce & Parts Specialist to support the online sales operations of a UK automotive parts business.

This position combines automotive knowledge, e-commerce, market research, product pricing and vehicle data.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in cars and automotive parts, is confident using computers, has good English and enjoys researching vehicles, specifications and components.

Key Responsibilities:

Automotive Parts Pricing & E-commerce

• Research the UK used-parts market and prepare competitive pricing.
• Create accurate, search-optimised product titles and pricing lists.
• Prepare and manage automotive parts listings across eBay UK and Facebook Marketplace.

Vehicle Compatibility & Product Research

• Research vehicle specifications, OEM/part numbers and technical information.
• Identify accurate vehicle compatibility and fitment for parts.
• Ensure listings contain accurate and complete product information.

Vehicle Purchase Research

• Research vehicles available for purchase.
• Assess potential vehicles based on parts demand, market value and resale opportunities.
• Support the vehicle prospecting and purchasing process with accurate market information.

Operational Support

• Maintain accurate daily records, forms and spreadsheets.
• Support internal task preparation, verification and completion.
• Ensure information is organised, accurate and updated across company systems.

Candidate Profile

We are particularly interested in candidates who:

• Have a genuine passion for cars, automotive parts or vehicle technology.
• Have good written and spoken English.
• Are confident using computers, Excel and online platforms.
• Have strong internet research and analytical skills.
• Pay close attention to detail, particularly when working with technical information.
• Can understand and compare vehicle models, engines, specifications and parts.
• Are organised, responsible and able to work independently.
• Are interested in e-commerce, online selling and the automotive industry.

Experience with automotive parts, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, e-commerce, vehicle fitment or product listings is an advantage, but not essential for the right candidate with strong automotive interest and the ability to learn.
