As a Data Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development and implementation of modern data platforms.

Depending on the project, you may work with Databricks, TimeXtender, Microsoft Fabric or another Modern Data Platform.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Building and maintaining reliable data pipelines
• Developing ETL / ELT workflows
• Integrating data from multiple sources and APIs
• Designing data lake, lakehouse and data warehouse architectures
• Developing transformation layers using SQL, Python, Spark or dbt
• Implementing data quality and testing practices
• Optimizing data pipelines and platform performance
• Working with cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Collaborating with Data Architects, BI Engineers and business teams
• Participating in technical discussions with international clients

What we are looking for

We are primarily looking for strong data engineering fundamentals rather than expertise in one specific technology.

You should have experience with several of the following:

• SQL – strong proficiency required
• Python
• ETL / ELT concepts
• Data modelling
• Data Warehousing
• Data Lakes / Lakehouse architectures
• REST APIs and data integration
• Git and CI/CD
• Cloud data platforms

Experience with one or more of the following is highly valued:

• Databricks
• Microsoft Fabric
• TimeXtender
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Data Lake Storage
• dbt
• Apache Spark / PySpark
• Delta Lake
• Power BI
• Snowflake
• Synapse Analytics

You do not need to know all of these technologies.

A strong understanding of data engineering concepts and the ability to quickly learn new platforms are more important.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering, BI or Data Analytics
• Is comfortable working independently on technical tasks
• Can understand an existing data architecture and contribute to improving it
• Has good problem-solving skills
• Writes clean, maintainable and documented code
• Is comfortable communicating with international teams
• Has a good professional level of English
• Is curious and willing to learn new technologies
