Project Planning Lead

Objectives :

• To integrate project requirements in different phases of each Tender/Project schedules
• Ensure alignment with Project execution plan
• Support the Project Execution Team to deliver within baseline schedule /Time

Activities :

Sale/Tender phase :
• Liaise with the Tendering team to planning during tender phase.
• Review Long lead critical items and highlight those.
• Ensure and integration of engineering, procurement and construction management plans and schedules
Execution phase :
• Responsible for working closely with sub-project teams and coordinating activities to ensure technical cohesion
leading to successful plant integration;
• Responsible for providing suitable engineering resource to oversee, advise and guide each sub-project team on
technical matters from concept through to commissioning and handover;
• Responsible to manage all technical interfaces (Civil, Structural, Piping, E&I) between projects;
• Responsible for leading the engineering team to suit the project timeline and budget;
• Responsible for providing resource to support the Engineering Management of Change; (EMOC);
• Ability to review P&IDs/SLDs/technical specifications/data sheets;
• Ability to identify all applicable engineering standards to be followed for the project;
• Good knowledge of the following disciplines: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation;
• Ability to plan and schedule engineering activities.
Governance:
• Facilitate functions to define process and procedures inline with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, Q2 and OSHA.
• Develop and maintain owner planning and scheduling procedures and practices
• Stablish minimum requirements for schedules prepared by contractors to ensure appropriate level of
details and structure are applied to ensure effective progress monitoring and project control
• Set up, implement, and maintain project schedule related key performance indicators (KPIs)

Prior Experience/Expertise Required :

Experience :
• 15 + years experiences working roles
within an EPC environment
• Risk analysis/assessment/mitigation.
• Experienced managing projects from
FEED through detailed engineering,
construction, commissioning and
handover
• Project management exposure
Expertise :
• Baselining and S-curve reporting
