Job Description

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees, visitors, company assets, and facilities. The role involves monitoring the premises, regulating access, responding to security-related situations, and ensuring compliance with established security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to identify and prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, safety risks, or other security concerns.
• Monitor security systems, including cameras, alarms, and access control equipment.
• Manage and oversee the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
• Check identification credentials and issue visitor badges or passes when required.
• Respond efficiently to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and other security-related events.
• Prepare accurate and detailed reports on incidents and daily security activities.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
• Support emergency response efforts, including fire incidents, medical emergencies, and evacuation procedures.
• Assist visitors by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Immediately report any suspicious behavior, security breaches, or unsafe conditions to management or the appropriate authorities.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar security-related position is an advantage.
• Good understanding of security practices, surveillance procedures, and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to remain vigilant, composed, and effective in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications used for security monitoring and report preparation.
• Physical fitness and stamina to stand, walk, and conduct patrols for extended periods.
