As a Junior Data Engineer, you will contribute to the development and implementation of modern data platforms while working alongside experienced Data Engineers and Data Architects.

Depending on the project, you may work with Databricks, TimeXtender, Microsoft Fabric or another Modern Data Platform.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Building and maintaining data pipelines
• Developing ETL / ELT workflows
• Integrating data from different sources and APIs
• Writing and optimizing SQL queries
• Developing data transformations using SQL, Python, Spark or dbt
• Supporting the development of data lakes, lakehouses and data warehouses
• Performing data quality checks and troubleshooting data issues
• Working with cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Documenting data flows and technical solutions
• Collaborating with Data Engineers, Data Architects and BI teams

Knowledge or first experience with one or more of the following is a plus:

• Delta Lake
• Power BI
• Snowflake
• Synapse Analytics

You do not need professional experience with all of these technologies.

Academic projects, internships, personal projects, certifications and hands-on labs are also considered valuable experience.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Recently graduated or has up to 2 years of professional experience
• Holds a degree in Computer Science, Data, Engineering, Business Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
• Has a strong interest in Data Engineering, Cloud and Analytics
• Has good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Is comfortable learning new technologies
• Has a good understanding of databases and SQL
• Is able to communicate clearly with technical teams
• Has a good professional level of English
• Is curious, proactive and eager to develop technical skills
