 About the team:

The Infrastructure Valdi Global Market Team (Infra Team) is in charge of Valdi Global Market of the test & development infrastructure for all the teams worldwide.  Part of this team a system engineer is needed in order to deploy, enhance and maintain this global architecture that is connected to more than 50 exchanges. This architecture is a client/server architecture based on VMWare ESXi with Linux and Windows hosted virtual machines but also including few database servers.

What you will be doing:

You will work within the Infra Team to ensure Development and tests Environments Availability and Compliance across all Environments

You will Manage test environments (creation, upgrade, and configuration) and ensure a high level of stability and availability of permanent test environment (monitoring and alerts)

Additionally, you will also troubleshoot the system issues and Apply patches and upgrades for all our hardware:

• Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth
• Monitors usage and performance
• Documentation of systems, controls and monitoring
• Backup and restore the environments
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring:

• Experience in VMWare software and virtualization technologies
• Networking equipment administration (TCP, VPN, HTTPS, SSH, SSL, FTP)
• System administration of modern Linux systems / Windows
• Team player with good communication skills
• Knowledge of SAN administration (Dell Compellent & HP MSA 2000) & DELL M1000 chassis
• Knowledge of Monitoring System (Centrion/Nagios/Nagvis)
• Configuration of Apache & tomcat
• Deployment and administration of Sybase/Oracle/MySQL RDBMS systems 

Added bonus if you have:

• Previous experience with Virtualization and Hardware installation
• Good verbal and written English
