The Release Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful and predictable delivery of software products, features, and customer commitments within agreed scope, timeline, quality, and resource constraints.

The role acts as the main coordination point between Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Delivery, Architecture, and other stakeholders, ensuring that delivery commitments are realistic, risks are identified early, and execution remains aligned with business and customer priorities.

The Release Manager is accountable for the delivery process and outcomes, while technical decisions remain with the relevant technical leads and product decisions remain with Product Management.

The Release Manager is responsible for making sure our delivery engineers and system integrators have access to the elements they need to deploy Streamwide products efficiently. Working closely with Delivery Engineers, Project Managers, system integrators, and internal stakeholders, the Delivery Coordinator ensures that standard product deliverables are prepared, tracked, and delivered on time when a major version is released.

This role also serves as the central point of contact for delivery engineers throughout the product lifecycle and platform deployment projects activities for customers facilitating communication between them and internal teams, monitoring progress, identifying potential risks, and supporting the successful execution of delivery activities.

 

What you will do:

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of assigned products, projects, and releases.
  • Develop and maintain delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate dependencies across teams and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage release planning and readiness across Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations.
  • Provide clear and regular reporting on delivery status, risks, issues, and forecast.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively communicate changes to scope, timelines, or priorities.
  • Drive delivery predictability and continuous improvement of delivery processes.
  • Ensure appropriate Agile practices and delivery governance are consistently applied.
  • Ensure delivery commitments are realistic, achievable, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Monitor delivery progress, identify risks and blockers, and drive timely resolution.

 

Exigences de l'emploi

Who you are:

  • You have 5-10 years of experience in release management, delivery coordination, project administration, or customer-facing operations.
  • You have experience working with software implementation, technology, or IT projects.
  • You have strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • You are comfortable managing multiple projects, stakeholders, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are confident communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You have strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • You are proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-oriented.
  • You can influence and drive actions without direct authority.
  • You have a basic understanding of software deployment and implementation processes.
  • You are comfortable working with project management and collaboration tools.
  • You can work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English.
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.

 

It would be a plus if you have:

  • Previous experience in a Professional Services or Customer Delivery organization.
  • Experience with enterprise software deployments.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles.
