Desert Joy is seeking an Environment Assistant to assist with maintaining environmental compliance and supporting sustainability efforts.

The Environment Assistant is responsible for environment activities according to a set planning.

He/She is responsible to ensure that assigned work areas in Desert Joy are maintained clean, safe, comfortable and in an attractive manner, where the cleanliness and the good management of Desert Joy waste are guaranteed.

Tasks:

• Supervise the environment team and follow the weekly planning.
• Organize, plan and communicate with colleague concerning taking of organic waste " leaves".
• Maintain a lush and healthy garden including the olives trees around the company location.
• Keep the company environment clean, proper and safe.
• Supervise the selection, organizing and the storage of garbage according to hazards.
• Ensure the correct selection of the garbage and it's timely discard.
• Register daily removal of all garbage and fill the relative forms.
• Report environmental issues to the HSE manager.
• Assist in preparing for audits.

• Bachelor’s degree in environment, or related scientific fields.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strong interest in environmental science and sustainability.
• Good knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Problem-solving and personal organization skills.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize.
• Good English Level.
